CPA continues to strive for high standards of policy-oriented research and scholarship. Since many of our studies are multidisciplinary we draw researchers from diverse academic backgrounds.

Despite being a relatively small organization, CPAS has immersed itself in the informal networks that entwine policy elites in the Indian context. We continue to leverage such linkages to widen the impact of our research outputs. We believe, such an environment offers researchers an excellent opportunity to enter the think tank community and hone their research and analytical skills.

Depending on project requirements, CPA recruits young researchers typically with undergraduate backgrounds in economics or political science to conduct extensive empirical and qualitative research on a specific policy theme. These studies are then published and disseminated to our target audience.
